Greenbrier Seeds (Smilax sp.)

Greenbrier (Smilax sp.) is a native woody vine with broad heart shaped leaves and clusters of blue berries eaten by wildlife. This unidentified local Smilax has grown wild beside the Oak Summit greenhouse for years and is one of several species found in northern regions.

Some seeds may take longer than one season to germinate.
