Eagle Black Currant

Eagle is a Canadian black currant raised by William Saunders from Naples before 1887. Its productive bushes bear tart, strongly flavoured berries suited to jam and to fresh eating for those who enjoy an assertive black currant flavour.

Grower observations describe its flavour as stronger than Tenah's; that comparison is not an observation from our own nursery.
