Clove Currant

Clove Currant (Ribes odoratum) is a North American shrub with late summer berries that ripen from yellow to black and range from tart to sweet tart. It also carries fragrant yellow flowers in spring.

The upright canes tolerate drought and alkaline soil. Plants are used for fruit, shelter, and wildlife habitat.
