Wyldewood is an American elderberry whose berries were larger and whose potential yields were higher than Adams II in Missouri trials. Harvest there began in late July, 14 to 26 days later than Adams II. That comparison describes the Missouri trial sites, not a Manitoba harvest date.

Jack Millican selected the original wild plant near Brush Hill, Oklahoma, in 1995. It was tested as Brush Hills 1 and Wyldewood 1 before its 2010 release through the Missouri elderberry improvement program. The name honours Wyldewood Cellars in Kansas.

Use fully ripe berries cooked, with stems removed. Unripe berries, leaves and stems are not edible.
