Wild Raspberry

Wild Raspberry (Rubus idaeus) plants come from native stands around Oak Summit Nursery. They spread by underground shoots and grow vigorously in the understory, while plants in brighter light generally produce more fruit.

The canes are fully hardy to about −40°C. The leaves can also be dried for herbal tea.
