Pussy Willow

Pussy Willow (Salix discolor) is a North American shrub or small tree with soft silver catkins that open before the leaves in early spring. The catkins later develop yellow stamens that provide early pollen for bees.

It prefers moist ground, tolerates wet sites, and can be used in rain gardens, hedgerows, and naturalized plantings. This material came from Manitoba.
