Highbush Cranberry

Highbush Cranberry is a North American fruiting shrub rather than a true cranberry. It produces tart red fruit used for jelly, sauce, and preserves. Fruit that remains into winter also feeds birds and other wildlife, and Indigenous peoples have used it as food.

White lacecap flowers appear in spring, and the lobed leaves turn red in fall.
