Belle De Boskoop Apple Tree

Belle de Boskoop, also known as Goudrenet or Goudreinet, originated as a chance seedling in Boskoop, Netherlands, in 1856. The large apples have green grey skin with red russeting and dense, firm flesh with a tart, aromatic flavour.

The fruit keeps its shape when cooked and is valued for pies, flans, cider, and storage. Belle de Boskoop is triploid and produces little viable pollen, so it needs compatible diploid pollinizers with overlapping bloom.
