Aron Chokeberry Seedlings

These chokeberries were grown from seed collected from an Aron parent. Aron is a European selection with large purple black fruit used for juice, wine and preserves. Its astringent berries ripen in late summer, and its glossy green leaves turn deep red to purple in fall.

These are seedlings rather than cloned Aron plants, so their growth, fruit and autumn colour can vary. They are chokeberries (Aronia), not chokecherries.
